Lincoln sits fifty miles southwest of our yard at 13520 Discovery Dr. We run trucks straight up I-80 to drop 10- to 30-yard containers at older bungalows near the university and newer builds on the south edge. Hot summer afternoons and sudden thunderstorms mean we often schedule early morning drops so crews can work before the heat or rain hits.
Winter brings cold snaps and occasional snow that can turn gravel alleys slick, so we carry extra straps and plywood to keep trucks from rutting driveways. Most Lincoln lots still have the narrow side yards common in pre-1950 housing stock, so we use smaller trucks on those streets to avoid scraping fences or power lines.
Council Bluffs traffic and Lincoln construction on 27th Street both affect our route timing, so we confirm access the day before every delivery. Residents in the Near South and University Place neighborhoods know to pull cars off the street the night before so we can set the container without blocking morning traffic.

Dumpster Rental in Lincoln — Local Notes
- •Narrow alleys behind 1920s bungalows near 27th and Vine require our 12-foot-wide truck; larger units stay on the main roads.
- •Summer thunderstorms can dump two inches of rain in an hour, turning clay soil soft enough that we lay down plywood before dropping a loaded container.
- •Winter wind chills often drop below zero, so we preload containers with extra straps to keep tarps from flapping off during the drive from Omaha.
